Testimonials
An Idea Born
The idea of the Photo Mosaic Portraits came during the pandemic Lockdown in 2020. I was commissioned by the Arts and Health Charity for the NHS in my home county of the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales to make two large mosaics, one each to display in our local hospitals, each one measuring 6ft by 4ft (1.8m by 1.2m). These were made up from hundreds of photos of the rainbow art which was displayed in the windows of houses in my home town and in a neighbouring town. They all colourfully showed a solidarity with the NHS and other key workers. They were dedicated with a genuine support and gratitude.
These ‘giant’ mosaics are still displayed on the hospitals’ walls.
The full story of this project and some of the highlight photos can be seen on my Blog page.
This was the inspiration to take the mosaic idea further and create Special Moment Mosaics. I could see how it can be used in a very personal way to help celebrate very special loved ones and family occasions and achievements.
I hope you enjoy the concept and will feel it’s a unique way to celebrate and bring your memories to life.
